Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

PracticeExamPro sells downloadable practice tests to Australian families. We collect as little personal information as we can. This policy explains what we collect and why, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Who we are

PracticeExamPro (practiceexampro.com) is the trading name of the business that operates this site. You can contact us at chrisdevguy@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Purchase records. When you buy a pack we keep the PayPal order ID, the product you bought and the time of purchase. We use these to deliver your download and to help if something goes wrong.
  • Payment details. Payments are handled by PayPal. We never see or store your card or bank details. PayPal gives us the order confirmation and may share your name and email address with us through your PayPal account.
  • Download links. We create a one-time download link for each purchase. It expires after 15 minutes.
  • Emails you send us. If you contact us, we keep the email so we can reply and handle follow-up.
  • Website usage. Google Analytics and Google Ads collect information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and whether a purchase followed an ad click.
  • Server logs. Our server records technical details of requests, and order and product IDs when download links are generated.

How we use your information

  • To process your order and deliver your download.
  • To answer questions and fix problems with a purchase.
  • To understand how the site is used and measure our advertising.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent misuse.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking, which set cookies in your browser. These cookies are off by default: Google's tag is not loaded and no analytics or advertising cookies are set unless you choose Accept on the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.

You can also block cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or manage ad personalisation in Google Ads Settings.

The site works fully if you decline; we just will not be able to measure that visit.

AI writing feedback

If you use the writing assessment feature, the text you submit is sent to Google's Gemini AI service to generate feedback. We do not store the text. Please do not include names, addresses, school details or other personal information in a student's writing.

Children's information

Our products are bought by parents and carers. We do not have accounts, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Students can use the free quizzes without giving us any personal details.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the services needed to run the site:

  • PayPal, to take payment.
  • Google, for analytics, advertising measurement and AI writing feedback.
  • Our hosting provider, which stores our server and database.

These providers may handle data outside Australia, including in the United States. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep purchase records for as long as needed to support refunds and meet tax and record-keeping obligations. Download links are deleted or become invalid after they expire. Emails are kept while we deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Security

Pages are served over HTTPS, files are stored outside the public web folder, and downloads need a valid, short-lived link. No online service is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it by emailing chrisdevguy@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, email us first. If we cannot resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.

This page is a plain-English summary of how we operate and is not legal advice.
